Tom Hiddleston Says Sorry After Golden Globes

NEWS - 10 Jan 2017

Tom Hiddleston won his very first Golden Globe for Best Actor - Miniseries or Television Film and perhaps got a bit too rattled? Or maybe he did not expect to win and didn't prepare an acceptance speech? We may never know. But the speech he ended up giving did not sit very well with audiences and he ended up having to issue an apology instead with the backlash garnered from his speech.

This is a quote from Tom's Facebook page..."I just wanted to say… I completely agree that my speech at the Golden Globes last night was inelegantly expressed. In truth, I was very nervous, and my words just came out wrong. Sincerely, my only intention was to salute the incredible bravery and courage of the men and women who work so tirelessly for UNICEF UK, Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and World Food Programme, and the children of South Sudan, who continue to find hope and joy in the most difficult conditions. I apologise that my nerves got the better of me."

In spite of playing God of Mischief, Madness & Evil over in Asgard, we know that Tom is only human after all and prone to mistakes like the rest of us so we want to tell him that we forgive him. We're still happily anticipating his upcoming movies such as Kong: Skull Island & Thor: Ragnorak. What about you?
