Synopsis

Outrageous and True!

The amazing story of Barry Seal is so outrageous that the film gets away with making the tone of the film to be over-the-top and yet humorous. Tom plays the role in such an enthusiastic and engaging way that you can't help but be caught up in the craziness of the situation. This true-to-life story is worth watching for Tom Cruise's performance, as well as getting. peak into the Drug trade and War on Drugs in the 80s!

Typically Classic Tom Cruise Movie

Overall: 5

Counting out Jack Reacher and Mission Impossible, this movie definitely adds to the list of indie movies that Tom Cruise usually produces. Surprisingly, it does not have links to Scientology.
