Synopsis

Struggling inventor Randall Peltzer brings home a special Christmas gift for his son Billy. It is none other than a small, furry creature called mogwai from Chinatown. However, he warns his son to remember three important rules that must never be broken - do not expose it to the sun or bright light, do not let it get wet, and do not feed him after midnight. Billy breaks all three rules, and the result is a gang of gremlins that decide to tear up the town on Christmas Eve.
