Synopsis

The film is set in the period of the 21-month-long period from 1975 to 1977 when there was a state of emergency across the country in India The film set against this backdrop, puts Indu Sarkar, 25, a lady with striking looks and a stammering poetess in the biggest dilemma of her life. A traumatic incident in childhood seems to be set right by the perfect marriage to Naveen and their children. But EMERGENCY in the country changes it all. As she must now choose between HUMANITY and the AMBITIONS of her husband, Naveen Sarkar, 33, a government official. How far will she go to protect her ideals and herself?
