Here are the new movies coming out this week.

Marvel Studios' Black Panther follows T'Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T'Challa's mettle as king -and Black Panther- is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

The story continues with Wuba after he parts way with his human parents Tian (Jing Boran) and Lan (Bai Baihe) for his own journey. Peace has not been restored in the monster world after the death of the evil monster king as a sinister lord has ascended and seized the throne. A heavy bounty is placed on Wuba dead or alive, forcing him to go into hiding again. He encounters an ill- famed gambler Tu (Tony Leung Chiu-wai) who’s deep in debt and seemingly up to no good. Together, they form a reluctant alliance in order to escape from their predicament.

Liang Xi Mei (Jack Neo) is finally back! Now retired, Liang Xi Mei spends her time looking after her obedient grandchildren. However, Robert (Mark Lee), her eldest son adds to her woes as he is always dreaming of making a fortune through easy means. She pins all her hopes on her youngest son, Albert (Benjamin Josiah Tan). Her favouritism stirs up jealousy within Robert, who vows to strike it rich to win Liang Xi Mei’s approval. By chance, Robert picks up the doll that is actually the Goddess of Fortune! She helps Robert but also appeals to him to be more down to earth and practical in his pursuit of success and wealth. Instead, he turns into an ingrate as soon as his hawker business takes off. His arrogance incurs the wrath of the God of Misfortune who decides to teach him a lesson. Soon, trouble ensues among Liang Xi Mei’s family and their best friends Guang Dong Po (Wang Lei) and Lion King (Henry Thia). Will they get through this headache of a situation together as a family?

Passing by Wang Chuan River, Tang Sanzang and his disciples mistakenly make the River God angry. They break into Xi Liang to hide themselves and realise that they`ve entered an all-female territory, where no man has stepped foot in since it was established. They are not welcome in the country, however, as the arrival of a monk from the East along with a monkey, a pig and a blue-colored man is prophesied as the beginning of the end for the country.

Mr. Chan was the top agent. Unfortunately he has been removed from duties right after a mission failure, his partner (Wonder Child) made a mistake and offended the policewoman Ms Shek unintentionally. 20 years after, Ms Shek has no choice but put the problems aside to ask Mr. Chan giving her a hands for solving a mysterious case. With the evidence to show this case has been involved with a Cyber Goddess. Mr. Chan is inevitably to make up himself in a sloppy appearance, the situation become out of control.

An ageing bachelor playboy finally meets the girl of his dreams and proposes marriage, only to discover her psychologist stepmom was his first love long ago. The future in-laws initially pretend not to know each other but as the wedding date gets nearer, the rekindling of long-dormant feelings develops into a cross-generational love triangle.

The Jiaolong Assault Team, one of the special forces of the world’s largest military force, People’s Liberation Army, is givena potentially fatal assignment, leading a small eight-man unit to evacuate Chinese residents from a North African republic in the throes of a coup d’état. The squad strategically makes a two-pronged rescue attempt but is tragically ambushed, resulting in heavy casualties. At the same time, the terrorist leader manages to steal the incriminating evidence against him along with essential material for the manufacture of nuclear arms. The Jiaolong Assault Team is fully aware of the importance of ensuring such material is forever removed from the terrorists’ hands.

With a stellar cast the movie explores the lives of two Indian Army officers. A mentor. And his protégé. Two officers with a patriotic heart who have a fall out. The mentor, Colonel Abhay Singh, with intelligence par excellence has complete faith in the system of the country. While protégé Major Jai Bakshi thinks otherwise because of what he has seen and heard in his recent stint in surveillance. Jai Bakshi decides to turn rogue and this is what kicks off the story. Abhay has 36 hrs to rein in Jai while Jai sits on a secret that can bring down the Government.
