Synopsis

Barry Egan is the socially awkward owner of a bathroom supply business who has gotten nowhere in life largely because of his insecurities. Dominated by seven sisters, Barry constantly questions his own manhood as he is unlikely to find romance unless romance finds him. He resorts to contacting a phone sex operator who, in turn threatens him with blackmail. However, after several events transpire, Barry is then set up with one his sisters` friend, Lena, a lovely, young English woman who has rather quirky personalities herself. But his relationship with Lena is burdened by an extortionist from the phone-sex line run by a crooked mattress salesman.
