Synopsis

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

Entertaining but no wow
Generally an entertaining movie but no "wow" factor in this relatively predictable show. Watch it for the harmless fun and for Dwayne Johnson but a note of caution to parents with young children - do note it's rated PG13.. Saw quite a number of young kids that managed to slip through - good luck to their parents in explaining certain hand gestures when their precocious young ones start asking why these gestures are funny enough to get the whole cinema laughing... ;)

Big bang and massive destruction! Watching "The Rock" has always been entertaining! A good ending to close the movie!

Thrilling and funny. Your typical The Rock film!
Any film with Mr Johnson is usually worth a watch! Recommended! What's this with minimum 100 characters?!

Dwayne’s movie always seems great :)
Great movie coupled with comedy & action . Quite straight forward and not feeling bored with the progress of the 2hr show . Enjoyed the little laughs between Dwayne & Agent Russell . Worth the time spent :)

Colossal disappointment
Honestly, what’s the damn point of making a movie involving the Rock and a serum that makes things big if you’re not going to make a supersized Rock tag team with the giant white gorilla and fight a monster croc and a flying wolf?!

Dwayne Johnson never disappoint
Worth every penny watching on big screens. Some surprise at the ending. George’s middle finger is huge! :)

Entertaining but not fantastic
The effects are cool, but the plot is predictable. There is not much storyline to it. Some of the dialogue is cliche too. Watch only for the action and humor.

Stupid but Fun
This film is another generic popcorn film that is fun to watch if you don’t really think about it. It is a film that from start to finish doesn’t really let up on the action. However, the dialogue seems a bit cliche at times and the villains in this movie is so generic it’s forgettable. The Rock is of course the bedrock of the film being the charismatic character that any film-goer will love. Jeffrey D Morgan and Naomi Harris also have decent performances in this film. However, I can only recommend this film to be watch as a Popcorn film. This is not a film that is really going to impress any film fanatic.

Good.
At this point you probably guess what’s the movie about if you put The Rock in it and the whole movie kinda predictable but nonetheless it’s entertaining.
