Doesn't really follow the 1st book but...
It's still enjoyable as a movie by itself. Plenty of Easter eggs for King fans too. Elba is pretty warm-blooded as Roland, McConnaughey is... okay as a villain, in his sexxayy V-neck blacksuits. I don't get why Rotten Tomatoes gave this 18%. It's not a stinker.
Great movie! One of the best based on Stephen King. It's a difficult movie to portray but this movie really hit the nail - they really portrayed the characters very well. Well done!!
Amazing movie . Didn't get the trailer when I first saw it but overall my fiancé & I enjoyed it . It includes fanstasy even though it's an action/adventure movie but it's suitable for both the young and adults .
