Synopsis

The Foreigner starring Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan, is a timely action thriller from the director of “Casino Royale.” The film tells the story of humble London businessman Quan (Chan), whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fueled vendetta when the only person left for him to love -- his teenage daughter -- is taken from him in a senseless act of politically-motivated terrorism. In his relentless search for the identity of the terrorists, Quan is forced into a cat-and-mouse conflict with a British government official (Brosnan), whose own past may hold clues to the identities of the elusive killers.

Awesome !!
It’s a must watch movie ! Jackie chan movies always never fails to disappoint . Whether it’s an English or Chinese movies , he always plays it so well in whatever role he chooses to take . In this movie , it shows politics & his love for his daughter which is very touching . Love the plot as well , thumbs up!

Awesome movie
Both actor have great expression in this movie. You can feel the sadness of the father or the politician anger n fear at the same time. After the movie, it makes me wants to read the novel. Greats actors and a awesome movie

Bored
I find this movie very neutral. You can somehow Guess the scene after one scene. Like when Jackie Chan ( Guan) with her Daughter drove into the alley for carpark slot you already know that something will happen like car explosion or some bomb. I find this show boring and somehow abit waste time.

Average
Not as good as what i hoped for. Plot is disengaging at times and jackie chan's emotionless face didnt help. Tries too hard to play with emotions. John wick felt like more of a fun ride than this.

Give it a miss.
Draggy and weak script. For a start, how can a 60 year old man fight like a mortal combat? And that Irish accent from pierce Brosnan. I must say he acted very well but just can’t accept that accent. Just can’t relate to it sorry.

So-so only
Not the best Jackie Chan movie... even with Pierce Brosnan in it. It felt like a movie made for the sake of a movie to prep for his retirement. Very little action. Very mcgyver.

Spoiler alert
Overall good, except the beginning was draggy and boring, great choreography but the way the scenes are filmed lack lustre. Content wise the connection between people and scenes are quite detached.
