Awesome cool love story
this movie is kinda cool to make it a love story between human and creature and by that the emotion between it is more intricate, although the girl is mute but you can feel all the motions clearly ~

Enter with an open mind and be amazed
Guillermo del Toro did an amazing job creating this modern fairytale. Perhaps it’s not for everyone but if you’re looking for something different from the usual Hollywood action prequel sequels you shouldn’t miss this. The cast was amazing, the set design takes you to a different world, the story is simple and satisfying in the end.

SEX!
M18 for good reason. A reviewer described this as having a lot of heart. As compared to Three Billboards for instance. I thought all of the actors were very good. Whimsical magic realism

Shapes up into an ocean of fantasy
Del Toro's figment of imagination gives realism to this modern-day fantasy fairytale that is set in an olden-day era. The lack of verbal communication between the two main characters is playfully manipulated and overturned into its ironic full-of-gesture non-verbal communication, driven by an endless flowing river of emotions that carries the movie through till its final high tide. All in all, a must-watch for the open-minded who wants a surreal movie set apart from the others...
